This medium bodied Bordeaux style blend offers robust flavours and smooth texture. On the nose, black cherry aromas with hints of new leather and light oak are followed by cherry, plum and strawberry jam flavours on the palate with smooth tannins and a medium finish.
The Chase appeals to a wide range of tastes and pairs well with light to medium seasoned foods. Vegetarian dishes, pasta and pizza, grass fed beef burgers and hearty stews. Oh, and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches topped with roasted portobello mushrooms that you eat with a knife and fork. Yum!
One barrel of the C.C. Jentsch Cellars 2017 Viognier was hidden away in the cellar until recently discovered in the spring of 2021. These Viognier grapes were grown on the Golden Mile Bench in Oliver, B.C.
Bright aromas of mandarin oranges and lemon join flavours of nectarine, peach and lemon cream making for a pleasing finish.

This juicy Syrah is rich and complex. Light black pepper, dark cherry, plum and leather meet the nose and palate. Barrel aged for 15 months, this wine delivers medium-full body, great balance, velvety tannins and a long finish.
A tasty match with dark meats and spicy dishes. Grilled beef steak, roasted lamb, pulled pork and meaty pasta all make tasty pairings with this Syrah. Hearty vegetable chilis and stews are also a nice match. A munchie tray of cured meats, fancy crackers and swiss, provolone and aged hard cheeses will meet with approval.
A medium bodied merlot aged in toasty American oak barrels for 15 months. Aromatic notes of cherry, plum, toast, oak, cedar, mint, violet and leather join flavours of dark cherry, plum, dried fruit, eucalyptus/mint, and a hint of chocolate.
Pairs nicely with pate, roastd meats like veal and pork, ribs, brie stuffed burgers, roasted mushrooms and cheesy potato gratins.
This expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with soft tannins is velvety smooth. Blackberry, black currant, tobacco leaf and earthy notes prevail.
Aged in medium toast French oak barrels for 15 months, this Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with full flavoured dishes, Moroccan lamb stew or beef stew, marinated mushrooms, richly seasoned veggie casseroles or carbernet braised venison cheeks all work. A classic roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner is a good match as is a portobello mushroom burger with roasted red pepper and a tomato, peeled celery and carrot salsa on a whole grain grilled bun.
Only 4 barrels of our Small Lot Series Cabernet Franc were produced in 2018. This well-balanced wine, offers medium-high acidity and approachable tannins after 16 months in medium French oak.
Our Cabernet Franc pairs well with grilled and barbecued meats, particularly game. A turkey dinner with cranberry or roasted pork and a spicy apple sauce is delicious. Try meatballs in tomato sauce with mushroom risotto or your favourite stuffed ravioli.
This is a soft and seductive Malbec with rich flavours of dark plum and blackbery that accompany hints of violets and vanilla.
Dinners, including lean red meats like a beef tenderloin stuffed or topped with melted blue cheese, roasted vegetables, lamb curries and stews, braised pork shoulder, or duck, all pair nicely with this Malbec. Dark chocolate truffles are a spot on accompaniment to finish a meal with Malbec.
In 2018 our Summerland vineyard yielded enough amazing fruit to produce 8 barrels of our Small Lot Series Chardonnay.
Notes of apple, cinnamon, lemon rind and buttery caramel greet the nose. The rich mid palate delivers flavours of Honey Crisp apple, baking spices, toasted nuts and toffee. Subtle oak aromatics come from a mix of neutral and new, extra fine grained French oak barrels. Fine acidity balances and enhances the lush fruit and the smooth finish.
Here is a Rose that's suitable for year round enjoyment. It's a great summer wine but you will want to save a few bottles for fall turkey dinners and the year-end holidays. Serve well chilled.
In the past our Blanc de Noir has been made with 100% Merlot. However two nights of frost early in October shortened the ripening season in 2019 and birds ate most of our Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon before we could pick it, so for this vintage we blended the very best of these premium grapes into this slightly off dry edition offering creamy cherry and vanilla flavours.
The Quest is a medium bodied, well-balanced, unoaked white blend of Chardonnay, Viognier, Gewurztraminer and Schoenburger. Bright fruit aromas join palate friendly flavous of geen apple, lime and pear. Perfect for entertaining.Serve well chilled.
